HSE Policy — Energy East Global Services
Health, safety & environment

Safety is at the core of everything we do

Our CASHES policy governs every operation — protecting people, communities, the environment and assets.

Policy statement

Community Affairs, Safety, Health, Environment & Security

In adherence to the stipulations of statutory laws and regulations outlined by the Health, Environmental, and Safety Commissions and relevant authorities, we issue our Community Affairs, Safety, Health, Environment and Security (CASHES) Policy Statement.

Our company is steadfastly committed to taking all reasonably practicable measures to prevent personal injuries and uphold a safe and healthy working environment for our employees and all persons, whether employed by the company or not, who may be affected by our operations. This commitment hinges on the effective management of all HSE aspects.

We are unwavering in our pledge to fulfil our statutory obligations as per prevailing Acts, Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice, and Guidance Notes issued by the Health, Environmental, and Safety Commission and their designated authorities in executing our duties.

The company will rigorously identify, assess, monitor, and document significant risks to the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, subcontractors, and persons affected by our operations. We will ensure that all parties are informed about these risks and that preventive measures and action plans are put in place.

Where risk assessments identify the need, employees will receive additional training, supervision, information, and health surveillance. We periodically review this Policy Statement, risk assessments, and safe work systems, promptly informing our employees of any changes.
